Rain – heavy at times – falls on Menlo Park in 24 hour period

It was no April Fool’s joke. A chilly rain fell on Menlo Park yesterday, causing minor flooding in places, such as the intersection of University and Middle avenues. The latest storm added just over half an inch to the seasonal total, which now stands at 8.9″, reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ. He adds: “This betters my backyard total of 8.2″ in 2007.”
