Loma Prieta earthquake 25 years later is topic at USGS public lecture on Sept. 25

The USGS Evening Public Lecture on September 25th at 7:00 pm is titled Ground Shaking in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake: A view from 25 years later. It will be given by Brad Aagaard, USGS Research Geophysicist. Lectures, which are free of charge, are held at the USGS Menlo Park Campus in Building 3, 2nd floor, conference room A.

Notes a USGS spokesperson: “We expect that this will be a very popular lecture. Make sure you get here 10-15 minutes early for a seat. As always first come, first serve. No reservations.”
