Science night at Menlo Park Library on Nov. 5

by Contributed Content on November 3, 2015

On Thursday, November 5, the Menlo Park Library will host a Science Night for adults, teens, and elementary school-aged children, with guests from the Chabot Space & Science Center and the Marine Science Institute.

The Chabot Space & Science Center will present its “Chabot to Go” program, featuring tabletop activities and demos, and the Cosmic Ray Planetary Theater, an inflatable indoor planetarium with several 15-minute star shows throughout the evening.

The Marine Science Institute will help attendees get in touch with some life science, as it presents sea life fun facts, rocky shore and tide pool touching, and shark artifacts.

Also on hand will be TechyKids, offering a robotics demonstration.

Attendees will be able to visit the various demonstration tables at their own pace. More surprises are in the works, in this special event funded by the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
