Poppies welcome yesterday’s rain – and today’s sun

It may have been cloudy and cool this morning following the short rain storm early yesterday evening. But the moisture and hoped for sun, made for jaunty-looking poppies.

Reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “Another .1″ of rain in my gauge this morning. My season-to-date total is 13”.

Meanwhile the San Francisco Chronicle reports that there needs to be lot of rain in March for El Niño not to turn into El Busto.
