Amidst deafening air horns, rambunctious cheers, and a blazing afternoon sun, Menlo-Atherton High School held its 65th graduation ceremony at 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, with 427 graduates participating.

Following the traditional M-A band and orchestra performance of Pomp and Circumstance, Olivia Luna, Bryce Rodgers, Olliver Pelayo, and Christopher Tinsley gave inspiring senior speeches.

Graduates turned their tassels as Principal Simone Kennel wished them a fond farewell. Families and friends rushed the field to congratulate the recent graduates.

Wow – having been almost 25 years (class of 1994) and I still remember it!!
Congrats to the graduating Bears!! It was an amazing feeling – you actually survived high school! Thats how I would describe it – how do you look at high school – the goal – to SURVIVE IT!! LOL! Looking at the number of years – I wonder if any students are kids of my classmates? That would be weird – but neat! Congrats guys – and college is a whole new world! Even if you have to go to Foothill (like me) – being a transfer student to SJSU was great – and I actually got 3 degrees (2 AA’s from foothill and by BS in Advertising from SJSU) BTW – the drama people (like me) who had fun at the theater – Foothill has an awesome Conservatory Program!! – you eat, sleep, breathe theater!!
