Get your New Orleans fix at M-A’s Big Band Dance on Saturday, Feb. 3

Come swing to the sounds of the award-winning Menlo-Atherton Bands and Orchestra on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 7:00 t0 10:00 pm.

This year’s New Orleans-themed evening will transport you to the French Quarter, where we will dance to jazz music performed by our talented ensembles led by the incomparable Kent Kurrus, participate in a second line parade, and sample Creole/Cajun food.

This fun-filled evening is M-A’s music program’s primary fundraiser for the year.  The whole community is welcome so bring your family, friends, and neighbors of all ages:

Menlo-Atherton High School Ayers Gymnasium
General Admission: $30 (limited peripheral seating)
Students with I.D.: $12
Seniors (65+): $12

Admission and reserved table seating for 8 people is available for $340, or a half table for 4 people is $180.

Enjoy the tastes of New Orleans at the Cajun Café, serving beef po’ boys, jambalaya, espresso, coffee, desserts and freshly prepared Beignets! You may pre-order your dinners now at a discounted rate, when you buy your tickets. Meals will also be available for purchase at the event.

Can’t do the Lindy Hop? No problem — free dance instruction will be provided in a fun, casual environment.

All of the net proceeds from this fabulous evening will benefit the M-A Bands and Orchestra, and your admission tickets and donations are tax deductible.
