by Contributed Content on March 13, 2018

The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula (JLPA•MP) will host its third annual FLASHDASH on Saturday, April 28, at Bootup Ventures in Menlo Park.

FLASHDASH is a photo scavenger hunt that integrates community landmarks, social media, and team-oriented adventure. Teams of up to four adults (21 and over) work together to solve clues, photograph the answers and post to social media using the event specific hashtag (#flashdash18). Some clues will be very specific, while others will require creativity and teamwork to interpret. Costumes are highly encouraged.

FLASHDASH registration begins at 2:00 pm at Bootup Ventures, the photo scavenger hunt will run from 3:15 – 5:15 p.m., and everyone will reconvene at Bootup Ventures for a party that starts at 5:00 p.m. Open to the public, the scavenger hunt and afterparty are great opportunities for the community to meet and get to know Junior League members.

All proceeds of FLASHDASH will benefit the League’s community projects focused on empowering girls to be STEAM leaders of tomorrow (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). Current community partnerships include Project READ Redwood City and The Tech Museum of Innovation.

Tickets for FLASHDASH are available now and start at $30 per person. Participants can sign up as a team, or individuals can sign up and get assigned a team. Tickets can be purchased online.
