John Weaver spins tales from the sea at Menlo Park Library on Nov. 15

Storyteller John Weaves tells tales about amazing things that happen at sea at the Menlo Park Library on Nov. 15 from 4:00 to 4:45 pm.
No registration is necessary for this event, which is especially for big kids — elementary schoolers on up, along with their adults.
Storytelling is telling stories without using a book. It’s an ancient art form that predates libraries, and books, and writing.
The Menlo Park Library’s own storyteller, John Weaver, is a parent, performer and early childhood educator who performs at schools, libraries, museums and other institutions throughout the Bay Area and well beyond. John’s energetic, interactive, humor-filled performances aim to capture the attention and imagination of all ages. He seeks to educate and encourage families to continue the adventure at home by sharing stories and reading together.
