Jefferson Award

Last week, Elise Kratzer was honored with the prestigious Jefferson Award for community service and leadership. The Jefferson Award has the mission of empowering others to have maximum impact on the things they care about most.

Michael Amoroso (Menlo-Atherton High School ASB Teacher), Dr. Streshly (Sequoia Union High School District Superindendent) and Christopher Thomsen (Sequoia Union High School District President of the Board of Trustees) are pictured presenting the award to Elise.

Michael Amoroso spoke about Elise’s work as M-A’s ASB President last year and ASB Advisor this year, Founder and President of the M-A Leo Club, and leader of M-A’s Transfer Student Success Program.
