Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce

It was a celebration of two kinds at this year’s Golden Acorn Awards on Tuesday night at the Stanford Park Hotel in Menlo Park.

The Awards celebrated its 40th year and recognized Menlo Park leaders in four areas:

● Public Service: Menlo Park Police Chief Robert Jonsen

● Community Service: Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation, which raises funds for the Menlo Park City School District

● Innovation & Technology: Women’s Startup Lab

● Business Excellence: Venture capital firm, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers

Facebook COO Sheryl was the featured speaker. Mayor Rich Cline handed out the awards.
