National Stationery Show

When we visited with Menlo Park resident Karla Ebrahimi in March, she was expanding her greeting card business, Sky of Blue Cards, and preparing for the big National Stationery Show in New York in May. Today, she sent us a brief update from the show floor:

“Our second year here at NSS is going great so far. We’re getting lots of new orders from stores in states our products weren’t in yet, so that’s been nice. We’re also seeing retailers who’ve placed orders with us before, coming back to us with big reorders, so that’s been wonderful. Even though it’s been really rainy in New York, the show seems livelier and more bustling than last year.

“The most pleasant surprise was finding out that Sky of Blue Cards was mentioned three times by Sarah Schwartz, editor of Stationery Trends magazine, in her sold out Trends Seminar on the first day of the show. Such an honor!”
