Sharon Park lake

Walking around the lake at Sharon Park this morning, we spotted a Blue Heron perched at one end, patiently scanning the water through a grate. Sure enough, in less than a minute the big bird had caught a fish, which went down its long neck before we could snap a photo of what looked like a tasty breakfast.
