Frannie Hall Kieschnick, senior associate rector at Holy Trinity: “On the second Sunday of the month in candlelight in the chapel at Trinity, we will offer a Taizé service of song, prayer and silence. Taizé is an ecumenical community in France founded in the spirit of reconciliation and peace.  All are welcome.” The new monthly service begins at 5:00 pm. The Taize music – the songs and chants are simple to learn and sing  – will be played on the piano by Joe Guthrie, who’s the organist at First Congregational Church in Palo Alto – and pianist at Beach Blanket Babylon! Note: St. Raymond’s also offers a quarterly Taizé service.
