Cyclists take to the streets in Tour de Menlo on Aug. 18

Cyclists can choose from a 35-, 45- or 65-mile route in the Tour de Menlo set for Saturday, August. 18. Now in its seventh year, the Tour is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Menlo Park and the Almanac. Proceeds are used to fund Rotary need-based scholarships and tutoring programs for English-language learners as well as the Almanac’s Holiday Fund Drive, which supports various local non-profits.

The ride starts and finishes at Menlo-Atherton High School; route maps are available online. The $50 registration fee includes a t-shirt and lunch catered by Lutticken’s Deli at the Picchetti Open Space Reserve as well as rest and water stops along the way.

Online registration is available until August 17; day of ride registration will be available until 9:00 am.
