Going greener in West Menlo

A shiny new Smart Car joins a Prius spotted in a driveway on White Oak Drive in West Menlo Park. Going very green seems to be catching on – we are seeing many fewer monster SUVs  (once de rigeur on this side of town) and many more hybrids and other practical cars.

One lucky neighbor nearby, even has an all-electric Tesla in his garage (we have a Ford Escape hybrid that replaced a 15 MPG Land Rover). ‘Less is more’ would seem to be catching on hereabouts – especially since gas has climbed back up over $3 a gallon at Menlo service stations.
