Close, but not 94025

A Yellow Pages knockoff landed on our porch a couple days ago. On the one hand, it targets our ‘hyperlocal’ community – good stuff, in this observer’s opinion.

But, on the other hand, it features a cover photo that everyone knows was taken at the Circus Club, which is in Atherton (zip code 94027), not Menlo Park (94025).

True, the official name of that country club is, for some reason, the Menlo Circus Club, but it most certainly lies in Atherton, not Menlo Park, where soccer fields, not polo grounds are the norm. Get a clue guys… if you’re going to do local, get it right!
