What’s with all this “oakiness?”

Ever wonder if Menlo Park should have been named Menlo Oaks, given the city’s propensity to be “all about oaks?” Drive around town and it seems there’s something named “oak”  at every intersection. But a check of the facts reveals something different: Only 4% of the streets in 94025 have “oak” in them. Here’s the list – and happy to hear what we’ve missed: Oak, Oak Grove, Oak Hollow, Oak Knoll, Oakdell, Oakfield, Oakhurst, Oakland, Oakley, Oakwood, Bishop Oak, Fair Oaks, Live Oak, Menlo Oaks, Menlo Oaks, Sharon, Oak, White Oak.
