Last Dance for a Great Jazz Band Director

Menlo Atherton High School held its 26th annual Big Band Dance tonight in Ayer’s Gym, the last to be conducted by much beloved Band Director Frank Moura (right).

Attendees came with their dancin’ shoes on and were treated to a great rendition of Stormy Monday, among other jazz standards.

The event, sponsored by the M-A Band Boosters, raised funds for band programs and equipment.
