Tip of the blogger’s hat: Katy Dickinson takes a last look at the Sun campus

Katy Dickinson, a Sun Microsystems’ employee for the past 25 years who found herself part of the “reduction in workforce” that occurred when the Oracle acquisition became final last week, has posted some thoughts, as well as photos, on the Sun Menlo Park campus and Sun’s last days on her personal blog. Post merger, the City of Menlo Park is concerned about the lost tax revenue and the fate of the campus, which sits a the foot of Willow Road. Katy’s musings remind us that it’s also about the people.
