How to become a Project Read tutor

Project Read-Menlo Park’s next scheduled three-session training for volunteer tutors begins Tuesday, April 20, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, at the Menlo Park Library. The only requirement for  tutors is to be able to read and write and to be willing to share those skills with some else. Training continues from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 24 on Tuesday, June 8, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm

Project Read offers free one-on-one tutoring to adults with limited or no English reading and writing skills. Volunteer tutors are asked to make a six-month commitment.
