Menlo City Councilman urges residents to participate in the Drive Less Challenge

Your InMenlo team (along with thousands of others, no doubt!) received this reminder from Menlo Park City Councilman Heyward Robinson:

Please join me in participating in this year’s Drive Less Challenge,  April 22 – May 5. It’s fun, healthy and green. Let’s reduce our car travel – the largest source of carbon emissions on the Peninsula – by choosing alternatives to solo car trips to our work, school, shopping or other local destinations.

Use the Drive Less Challenge website and the game-like trip log to see your progress, and compare and share with friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  Bike, bus, train, carpool – or just walk – to some of your local destinations during the Challenge and see your impact as you participate. You can win prizes from local shops while feeling good about your health and your contribution to reducing our collective carbon footprint.
