Spotted: Weekly Wamp sports “oarless” new design

After a one week of daily publication, the Daily Wamp morphed into the Weekly Wamp on Friday with a newly-designed (no more oar logo), color publication printed on bright, high quality paper instead of newsprint. The 16-page publication featured stories on Menlo Park and Atherton city councils and a couple of reader contributed restaurant reviews. Hiccups continue: Jumps to articles were unclear or missing altogether, as was the case with a round-up of views on the MP Planning Commission’s approval of BevMo that started on the front page but didn’t continue inside. The Wamp’s news racks have new signage indicating the weekly publication cycle, although the first edition had a Friday dateline (8/27), not Thursday.
