M-A’s canned food drive = big success!

All that canning paid off! M-A’s annual canned food drive was a huge success. A special thanks to Ali Gaffney and Fiona Meyer-Teruel for gathering 4,000 cans and $500. Also to Eisa Evans who collected 3,000 cans and $100 and Maya Jevans for over 1,000 cans!
It was amazing to see students camped out at over 10 grocery stores – not to mention that the majority of the canning slots were taken. More people participated this year than any other year. Great work M-A students and faculty, we beat our goal of 60,000 pounds of food.
Now we’re sure you’re wondering how many pounds we got. Well, the grand total comes out to:
62,227 pounds of food! So congratulations M-A, and let’s collect even more next year!
