  • How to talk to boys so they will will listen
  • How to provide more boy-centered learning experiences
  • How to avoid gender stereotyping
  • How boys learn best
  • Myths of boyhood

Dr. Shapiro has been working with parents and families for four decades.  He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Professor of Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University.  He is the author of nine books, including The Measure of a Man: Becoming the Father You Wish Your Father Had Been.  He has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the CBS Morning Show.
