M-A Outreach Club begins “Create a Crane” project to support Japanese relief efforts

by Linda Hubbard on March 23, 2011

To support Japanese relief efforts, the M-A Outreach Club is selling origami paper for $2.00 a piece, from which a paper crane is made. Explains Outreach president Diane Masket: “The paper cranes will be hung in Pride Hall to remember and honor those effected by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Relief effort.”

If you would like to make a $2 (or more) donation to get a crane made, contact maoutreach@gmail.com. The larger community is encouraged to participate.
