by Chrisie Wendin on March 23, 2011

The Common Ground Speaker Series, a parent education coalition of several Bay Area schools including Menlo-based Phillips Brooks and Trinity, present Alyson Schafer tonight at 7:00pm. Schafer — author of the new book Ain’t Misbehavin’ and one of Canada’s leading parenting experts — will talk about Power Struggles: Win-Win Strategies for Families. She is known to be an engaging and entertaining speaker, as those who attended her talk yesterday morning at Trinity School can attest to.

The event is free for parents, faculty, and staff of Common Ground’s 25 member schools. It’s also free for any teachers from area schools. Members of the community are welcome to attend and tickets are $20 at the door. For more information and directions to Phillips Brooks School, see the Common Ground Speaker Series website.
