Sign up for Grizzlies lacrosse fall league by Sept. 10

The Menlo-Atherton Youth Lacrosse Club, the Grizzlies, is planning a fall league that will play on Sundays from Sept. 18 to Oct. 30. There will be three boys teams – U9, U11 and U13 – and two girls team – U9 & U11, plus a team for five- and six-year-olds. Families interested in participating should register by Sept. 10 so that teams can be assigned.

In an email, organizers wrote: “Fall Ball will be used to evaluate players for the Spring Teams, so it is a great opportunity to try playing up to the next age level and working with the coaches to  make the best decision for teams.  Keep your skills up and prepare for the Spring Season, so please sign up for the Team that you will be playing for in the Spring.  You may play up or down in the Fall.

“We are always looking for some great parent coaches. Fall Ball is great time to come out and join your players team coaching staff to learn more for Spring. Grizzlies offer a 50% discount for parent coaches for the Spring Season. It is a rewarding experience and alot of fun!”
