Explorer recruitment event on Nov. 16

The Menlo Park Police Department Explorers will be participating in a San Mateo and Santa Clara County recruitment night scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church offsite building located at 700 B. Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park.

The Explorer Program is a career-based program within Learning for Life, Boy Scouts of America, designed for young men and women between the ages of 14 to 21 years of age who want to learn about and experience aspects of potential future careers. Exploring encompasses Medical, Fire, Band, Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement. Various agencies and Explorer Posts from San Mateo and Santa
Clara Counties will be participating at the recruitment event.
