Spotted: Tulips, peppers and Eagles Scout music at Menlo Park Farmers’ Market

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on February 12, 2012

There was a hint of Valentine’s Day to come at the Menlo Park Farmers’ Market this Sunday morning, not in the form of roses, but instead tulips, much in abundance at most flower vendors in a rainbow of colors.

David Winsberg of Happy Quail Farms was featuring his very last-of-the-season but still colorful peppers. “I’m here just today,” he said. “This is everything that’s left. We’re plowing the fields to get ready for next season.”

Music this morning was being provided by Scout Tom and his buddies, raising money for Eagle Scout projects.
