Parents, students, teachers – help plan new Atherton library, starting Feb. 25

The Atherton Library Building Steering Committee (“ALBSC”) is keen to engage the parents, students, and teachers of Atherton schools in the process of envisioning the new Atherton Library. Having the community share their vision for the library’s architecture, types of spaces, programs and collections is key to making the library unique to our community, a place we can love and all take pride in. Participation by parents, students and teachers in any of the upcoming meetings would be very helpful.
The upcoming meetings are as follows:
– Saturday, February 25, 10 – 12:00 p.m. at the Town of Atherton Council Chambers
– Tuesday, March 6, 3 – 5:00 p.m. at the Atherton Library
– Tuesday, March 6, 7 – 9:00 p.m. at the Atherton Library
– Thursday, March 22, 7 – 9:00 p.m. at the Pavilion in Holbrook-Palmer Park
Please contact Denise Kupperman, Chair ALBSC at dekupperman@gmail.com or Carine Risley, Branch Manager Atherton Library at risley@smcl.org with any questions.
