Family Fun at Maker Faire Bay Area 2012

by Scott Loftesness on May 19, 2012

Maker Faire Bay Area 2012 is underway this weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) – an amazing experience for families. The range of exhibits, things to see and do, etc. just boggle your mind. I attended today with a photo buddy friend of mine (our third year in a row) and we had another great time. If you’ve never been, be sure to try to go tomorrow (Sunday)! It’s at the San Mateo Event Center and doors open at 10 AM.

Among the Menlo Park groups participating, Menlo School had a big exhibit of some of its projects – robotics, these little powered tractors (that fascinated the kids), and more. Emma Waldspurger, a 13 year old jewelry maker, is also exhibiting.
