PG&E moving Sand Hill Road pipeline replacement project to daytime – lanes will close
PG&E has been working the last couple of evenings on Sand Hill Road between Branner Drive and Saga Lane. Starting Thursday morning, Aug. 23, they will be changing over to working days from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in this area. In order to provide a safer work area, the City of Menlo Park will be closing both traffic lanes in the westbound direction between Branner Drive and Saga Lane, and converting the eastbound side of Sand Hill Road to two-way traffic during PG&E working hours. The westbound lanes will be re-opened at the end of each working day.PG&E began replacing a 24” gas pipeline on Wednesday, August 15. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of October. Questions about the project should be directed to Joe Molica at PG&E at (415)973-5930.
