Spotted: Space Shuttle Endeavour over M-A

by Linda Hubbard on September 21, 2012

Menlo-Atherton High School teacher Betsy Sergeant Snow took her digital photography class outside this morning to watch the Space Shuttle Endeavour pass just to the East of the school. She managed to get one shot that shows the trailing T-38 jet fighter training plane. NASA operates a fleet of these jets, which are used as the chase planes when the Shuttle was being moved, when it was landing, and for the astronauts to move about the country.
