Spotted: Snowy egret at Bedwell Bayfront Park

One of the prettiest times of day at Bedwell Bayfront Park in Menlo Park is at dawn. The sunrises can be spectacular, but even on an overcast morning, the camera can capture lovely scenes. We happened on a flock of snowy egrets one recent morning (if, indeed “flock” is the correct word for this species), but one bird was foraging for breakfast in his/her only little spot of water, making for a nice singular reflection.
