JobTrain plans fall fundraiser on Oct. 12 at Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park
The non-profit vocational training center, JobTrain, is holding its fall fundraising gala on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park. The evening features a cocktail reception and dancing to Pride and Joy. Net proceeds will go directly toward operating JobTrain programs.
Since 1965, JobTrain has helped more than 165,000 men and women reclaim their lives from poverty and unemployment by preparing them for sustainable careers in high‐demand and emerging fields. Within the last year alone, 8,000 people benefitted from a JobTrain program and 74% of JobTrain’s vocational graduates were placed in quality jobs. JobTrain also serves at‐risk youth and operates a child development center.
