Paint Allied Arts 2012 is set for October 13
The Portola Art Gallery announces its juried plein air paint-out and exhibit “Paint Allied Arts 2012” on the morning of October 13.
More than 20 artists have been selected to join with artists of Portola Art Gallery to paint in the gardens of Allied Arts. The public is invited to watch the artists at work, and stay for the afternoon exhibit, reception and awards presentation.
Artists have been invited to bring a dry painting to hang at the beginning of the day. In the afternoon, the artists will add their wet paintings to the display. All displayed works will be available for sale.
Selected artists include: Ed Bertolet, Terry Eden, Kathryn Ellis, Marcia Enns, Catherine Fasciato, Teresa Ferracci, Sarah Kahn, Jake Karmendy, Susan Mendelsohn, Helen Min, Yvonne Newhouse, Tara Norwood, Pat Park, Sharon Chan Parodi, Liz Scotta, Timon Sloane, Lesley Underwood, Claire Shroeven Verbiest and Karen White.
Participating Portola Art Gallery artists are Steve Curl, MarshaHeimbecker, Carolyn Jones, Kristen Olson, Jan Prisco, Linda Salter, Jared Sines, Mary K. Stahl, Barbara von Haunalter and Alice Weil.
