Halloween events for kids on Saturday, Oct. 27

Kid-focused, Halloween-related events are taking place in both Atherton and Menlo Park on Saturday, October 27.

At the Jennings Pavilion in Holbrook-Palmer Park, the Friends of the Atherton Library are hosting a free musical performance featuring Lucky Diaz Music. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Ice cream will be served. The event runs from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

The City of Menlo Park’s annual Halloween Hoopla takes places beginning at 11:45 am with a costume parade at a new location — Maloney Street parking lot and Santa Cruz Avenue. Trick or Treating will take place directly afterwards along Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Menlo Park. Crafts and entertainment will be available at Fremont Park.
