Fifty Bay Area artisans will be offering their unique, hand-crafted creations made using repurposed materials from San Francisco designer showrooms at the 4th annual FabMo Textile Art Boutique on Saturday, Oct. 27..  You will find jewelry, dolls, hats, accessories, purses, totes and pouches, home decor, cards and much more. The event takes place from  10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Quadrus Conference Center, 2400 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park.

There is no charge for admission or parking, and visitors of all ages will be able to do some crafting of their own using FabMo materials at the Crafting Activity Table.  Food is available for sale at the Quadrus Cafe from 11a.m.-2p.m..  A drawing for gift baskets filled with donations from the Boutique exhibitors will benefit FabMo.

The Boutique is sponsored by FabMo, a totally volunteer run non-profit whose purpose is to recover from designer showrooms tons of exquisite discontinued materials, which were originally destined for the landfill, and provide them to local artists and craftpersons, educators and organizations. Fabric, trims, wallpaper, tile, leather and wood are just some of the materials FabMo collects.
