Armed robbery occurs at Jack Lyle Park in west Menlo Park

On Wednesday, November 8, 2012 at approximately 12:07 am, Menlo Park Police Department officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at Jack Lyle Park, located at 1060 Middle Avenue in Menlo Park. Two male suspects approached the victim; one of the suspects pointed a knife at him and demanded the victim’s property.

The victim complied, and the suspects ran from the scene in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money and an iPhone. The victim was not injured.

Suspect #1 was described as a white male in his 20’s, 6’01”, thin build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a long black baggy winter jacket, dark pants and was the suspect with the knife.

Suspect #2 was described as a white male in his 20’s, heavy set and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dirty beige t-shirt with graphics and blue jeans.
