Valentines Day creativity sprinkled all over Menlo Park

Locals are proving that Valentines Day greetings are not all Hallmark produced.
Scott Loftesness took a photo he’d taken of candy hearts some years ago and adjusted it on his iPad Mini using three different applications: Painteresque, Perfectly Clear and Instagram.
Kay Melchor often creates paper artwork. For a handmade Valentine, she explains: “The blue is mulberry paper. The green is white tissue painted with acrylics and then printed with stamp made from lace. The artwork in the center is made using stamps and jacquard paints.”
And one resident received a rock collected on beach walk with her Valentine buddy.
Our verdict: Clever people one and all!
