Menlo Park Police Departments recruiting residents to be part of advisory committee

by Linda Hubbard on June 12, 2013

The Menlo Park Police Department is organizing a Chief’s Advisory Committee. This committee will consist of residents and business owners in the City of Menlo Park and will meet once a month to discuss various law enforcement issues.

The goals of the police chief’s advisory committee are to continue to build a strong relationship with the community by improving the delivery of services and sharing information through open communication.

The ideal committee member must have an avid interest in the operation, mission and goals of the police department. This is a voluntary position. It is essential to the success of the committee that members attend regular meetings, offer input, ideas and expert advice on law enforcement topics of discussion.

Please contact Chief Bob Jonsen’s office by email or phone at policechief@menlopark.org or (650) 330-6326, if you are interested in being involved with this committee.
