S’moresicles are fun summer treat that kids can make

by Alexis Murphy on July 5, 2013

Oh my, it has been hot! There is no better way to cool off than with ice cold S’mores.

finished smoresSummer just isn’t Summer without S’mores and this year, we are giving traditional S’mores the “cold shoulder”. They are the perfect treat for kids of all ages to make.

For six popsicles (our popsicle molds are the 2-oz size from Ikea), you will need a cup each of chocolate chips, crumbled graham crackers and mini marshmallows plus four big scoops of softened chocolate ice cream (it is not an exact science add more or less as you see fit!).

Mix them all together by hand or in a mixer with a flat paddle attachment. Then fill popsicle molds, packing the mixture in as “tight” as you can. Insert popsicle handle or stick and place in freezer for at least 2 hours.

Your campfires will never be the same again!
