Neighborhood boutiques kick off the holiday season in Menlo Park

by Rebecca Flanagan on November 9, 2013

Jamila RufaroMenlo Park resident Luane Robinson (pictured above)  hosted a holiday boutique at her home today, showcasing a number of local artisans. Luane was selling knitted scarves, jam, jewelry and collage cards, the latter a product of a collage class she takes each week.

Tiny books, repurposed from old books, and jewelry made from found objects (Scrabble tiles, old keys Monopoly pieces etc.) were the specialty of Jamila Rufaro, shown right with her jewelry; her books are pictured at bottom.
