Tickets now available for Peninsula Volunteers Authors Salon Luncheon on May 4 in Menlo Park
Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI) 23rd annual Authors Salon Luncheon returns to the Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club (2900 Sand Hill Road) in Menlo Park on Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The line up of authors include New York Times bestselling historical novelist, Margaret George, author of Elizabeth I; Ron Hansen, author of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford; Tracy Guzeman, author of The Gravity of Birds; Susan Shillinglaw, author of Carol and John Steinbeck: Portrait of a Marriage; and moderator, Paul Goldstein, Stanford Law Professor, three-time novelist and recipient of the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction for his novel Havana Requiem.

Each year Peninsula Volunteers delivers over $5 million in services, including over 130,000 hot meals to seniors and the homebound, and impacts over 4,500 households through its programs: Meals on Wheels; Little House, The Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center; Rosener House Adult Day Services; and Peninsula Volunteers Properties, Inc. The latter provides 82% of the affordable senior housing in Menlo Park at Crane Place and Partridge/Kennedy Apartments.
