Plans take shape for Aug. 9-10 Relay for Life at Burgess Park in Menlo Park

by Linda Hubbard on July 29, 2014

The theme for this year’s Relay for Life in Menlo Park is Carnival for a Cure. It takes place from Saturday, August 9 to Sunday, August 10 at Burgess Park over a 24-hour period. Because cancer never sleeps, teams strive to have a member on the course every minute of the event. Emails organizer/participant Betty Meissner: “The illuminated pathway of luminaria from 9:00 pm Saturday to 6:00 am Sunday is particularly beautiful and touching – worth staying up late to experience under the stars!”

One can sign up/register/join a team/start a team/donate online.
