Cafe Zoë holds annual Willow Oaks School uniform drive – $20 donation buys a uniform

by Contributed Content on August 21, 2014

Cafe Zoë is once again holding its Annual School Uniform Drive. Emails cafe owner Kathleen Daly: “Every year we accept donations to support our effort to stock a closet full of extra uniforms for the schoolchildren at Willow Oaks School on Willow Rd. Uniforms are now required at the school and many families are without the financial resources to purchase a uniform or an extra shirt or pair of pants for their children. The school has always been very thankful for the uniforms we have been able to purchase.

“Basically a $20 donation buys a uniform. School starts this week so I am optimistic we can start shopping soon. If anyone loves to shop then I can use the help going to Target and Old Navy. In the past we have raised well over $2,000.

“In addition, gently used khaki, navy and blue uniform style pants can be considered for donation along with white polo and dress shirts. We will have them cleaned and pressed.”

To make a donation, stop by Cafe Zoë on Menalto in Menlo Park.
