A Bay Area tradition since 2001, the Caltrain Holiday Train presented by Silicon Valley Community Foundation returns Menlo Park on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 7:45 pm.

Volunteers from the Salvation Army and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program will be at the Menlo train station collecting new, unwrapped toys for local children. The Caltrain Holiday Train has generated nearly 50,000 toys for local children in its 11-year history.

Decorated with 70,000 glittering lights, the show-train features on-board carolers, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman and a Toy Soldier. It will stop in Menlo for 20 minutes.
