Pars Equality Center hosting 5th annual Nowruz Gala on March 14

Menlo Park-based Pars Equality Center’s (PEC) is holding its 5th annual Nowruz Gala  in honor of the Persian New Year (formally observed on March 20, 2015).  The Gala marks the 5th year anniversary of the non-profit organization that provides social and legal support for members of the Iranian-American community, including American-born, refugees and immigrants.

Founder and executive director Bita Daryabari is hosting the event with Iranian-American comedian and actor Maz Jobrani serving as Master of Ceremonies. The evening features musical entertainment by Sepideh, a catered Persian dinner with wine and dessert, plus surprise guests, an auction, dancing, and more.
