Dozens of Menlo Park-based non-profits are participating in Silicon Valley Gives 2015

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on May 4, 2015

Following a successful first-ever regional day of giving that benefited more than 600 nonprofit organizations last spring, Silicon Valley Community Foundation will again host Silicon Valley Gives on May 5, 2015.

During the inaugural Silicon Valley Gives event held last year, nearly 15,000 individual donors contributed just over $8 million to charities based in three counties.

Silicon Valley Gives raises money for local nonprofits through a single online donation platform, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most.

Here is a list that SVG provided of organizations based in Menlo Park (or with MP mailing addresses) that are participating. Note: The links are to the organizations’ websites, some of which may feature a SVG donation widget. An alternative is to donate through Silicon Valley Gives where you can also find other Peninsula-based non-profits.
