Join the fun on July 11th and have your child, age 5 through 14, participate in the Menlo Park Kids Triathlon. This event provides a safe and fun environment for kids to compete in a triathlon with kids their same age.

The triathlon takes place at Burgess Park. Between 300 and 400 participants are expected to spread out over 5 age groups (6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14). Registration is available online.

Race distances are different for each age group and starts will be staggered to provide the best conditions for the participants and spectators.

The swim course will use all lanes in Burgess pool. There will be multiple start waves defined by age groups. The waves starts will be oldest to youngest. The wave start times will be determined 2 weeks prior determined by participant registration numbers.

The bike course will be a 1 mile loop. It will include multiple loops by different participants.

The run course will be one loop that runs completely around Burgess Park. The run will be staffed with volunteers.
